“The Beloved Community” is a term that was first coined one hundred years ago by the philosopher-theologian Josiah Royce, and was popularized by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King’s vision of the beloved community was that all forms of discrimination, bigotry and prejudice will be replaced by an all-inclusive spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood.

This series of interactive processes strives to create a deeper understanding of clients, community, and how individuals work together effectively. Based on Hawaiian storytelling traditions, groups will seek to understand the complexities and similarities they all have while creating new ways to build alliances.
